Call Of Duty Rostermania: Rumors and Moves

This has been one of the craziest weeks in Cod’s recent history as Rostermania is heating up like never before. We have had multiple team wipes and some very surprising cuts to players many thought were locks. Let’s take a look at the rumors and moves already made by all twelve teams in the league

Chicago Huntsmen

While this one isn’t quite surprising it’s very disappointing from a fan’s perspective. Fan Favorite Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson and his brother Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson have both been let go after running down their contracts with the team.

Arcitys is one of the best players in the league and was coming off a championship-winning season before this year. He felt it was time to leave so he could finally become the main AR he’s wanted to be but never could.

Preston leaves being an integral part of this team that got a lot of unwarranted hate. He would make a great 4th man on any team.

Chicago seems to be the front runner for the signature of Brandon “Dashy” Otell. Dashy had a rough year last year after claiming to have been forced into a sub role instead of the flex AR/Sniper he ran in B04. However, Dashy has an undeniable talent and showed that by being the runner up for MVP in B04. With the return to a Treyarch COD, Dashy and Chicago will be hoping he gets his form back for the upcoming season.

Seattle Surge

The Surge has released everyone besides Sam “Octane” Larew, after what can only be seen as a terrible season.

It seems that the Surge has given the reigns of this team over to Octane to build the squad he wants.

The surge has not seemed to have any concrete rumors of anybody joining the team. Hower, CDLINtel on twitter seems to think that the team will be targeting Daniel “Loony” Loza and Prestinni, and maybe Pierce “Gunless” Hillman but no word as of now.

Toronto Ultra

Toronto is probably the most under the radar team at the moment. They released most of the roster while announcing the resigning of Tobias “Cleanx” Jonsson and Cameron “Cammy” McKilligan. The only other two that have been linked right now are the resigning of Anthony “Methodz” Zinni and Ben “Bance” Bance. No one knows whats going on with them now, but Toronto has till the 14th to resign them before they become free agents.

 Atlanta Faze

Atlanta is one of the last teams to announce who they have officially released, but many think that it’s going to be Mike “MajorManiak” Szymaniak and Preston “Priestahh” Garnier. That would leave a roster space open on the team.

The rumor flying around the space right now is that we might get a bit of a EUnited reunion with Arcitys joining the runners up from this year. If this happens they are instantly the preseason front runners for Cold War.

Florida Mutineers

Bradley “Frosty” Bergstrom and Chance “Maux” Moncivaez announced today that they are restricted free agents for this upcoming season. Not surprising as the team faltered toward the end of the year. Joseph “Owakenings” Conley and Cesar “Skyz” Bueno are the only players that Flordia has chosen to move forward with. Maurice” Fero” Henriquez is another player whose contract status is up in the air right now.

Minnesota Rokkr

The Rokkr have released their entire team in the last week, meaning they will be on the hunt for an entirely new starting lineup. According to The Crone (CDLIntel), they were targeting Dillon “Attach” Price, Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi, Majormaniak, and Priestahh. This week has made that a little tougher with no official word on the release of any of these places besides Accuracy. They will be an interesting one to keep up with.

La Optic

Optic announced the release of Dashy, Martin “Chino” Chino, Darien “Hollow” Chverchko, and Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar-Lim this week. That leaves Zack “Drazah” Jordan, Thomas “TjHaly” Haly, Austin “Slasher” Liddicoat, and Kenny “Kuavo” Williams on the roster. No word yet on if this is the starting roster or if Drazah will be moved to the bench with an incoming player from free agency.

LA Gureillas

The Guerillas have dropped their whole roster beside Reece “Vivid” Drost. After a horrendous year, they will be looking for a total rebuild. The plan right now is to target Justin “Silly” Fargo-Palmer and Adam “Assault” Garcia to play alongside Vivid with a mysterious 4th man that hasn’t been revealed yet.

NY Subliners

The Subliners are on the hunt after finishing their season strong after a very rough start. Makenzie “Mack” Kelley was a godsend for them halfway through the year, singlehandedly carrying them out of the depths to mid-table. For his troubles his been allowed to stay on the team while Donovan “Temp” Laroda, Doug “Censor” Martin, Nick “Happy” Suda, and Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi.  The team seems to be targeting James “Clayster” Eubanks, 2020 champion who faced an unfortunate end with the Dallas Empire and an unnamed 4th man as of right now.

Paris Legion

After a truly terrible season, Paris has released their whole roster including min man Zach “Zed” Denyer. However, the rumors coming out of Paris have made them go from the most uninteresting teams in the league to one of the teams to watch if they can get the signings over the line. Paris seems to be targeting two of the top AM’s in Europe Amer “Pred” Zulbeari and Paco “Hyrda” Rusiewiez. Pred is an Australian pro who currently plays for Renegades and is coming off a dominating season. While Hydra is a euro player who gives the team a French pillar to build around. something the EU teams will be searching for.

London Royal Ravens

The London roster has been dropped, something I never thought I would say as the team finished 4th at champs this year. What makes this even more surprising is that the Britsh Marshall twins, the faces of the franchise and their best players, have been dropped with no resigning in site for either. Bradley “Wuskin” Marshall has been sounding off on Twitter today after accusations from Assualt about Wuskin’s work ethic.

Dallas Empire

Dallas was the first out of the gate dropping Clayster. Unfortunate for the team but had to be done, and it seems no hard feelings are felt by either party.
