Jets WR Quincy Enunwa is out for the season with a neck injury, sources say.

Only the Jets! The one shining star on an already depleted offense is now done for the year and my reasons for watching Jets football this season have gone from 1 to 0. Enunwa was far and away the best Jets receiver on the roster and even so without taking many snaps out wide. Now instead of watching Enunwa turn an eight yard hitch into a 60 yard touchdown, I get to watch Josh McCown try to force feed footballs to guys like Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, Robby Anderson and Charone Peake while also trying to dump passes off to the old man Matt Forte and running end arounds for -8 yards to Lucky Whitehead.
The worst part about all of this is that even though the Jets lost their best player, even though this might be the worst offense in the history of the football AND even though a quarterback who can’t even break a huddle correctly will probably be starting for a majority of the season, some freaky voodoo football things will happen where the Jets still win enough games to not get one of the top tier quarterbacks in next years draft.
Usually I wait until October or even November in rare cases to look at mock drafts. It’s August 7th and I am about to be knee deep in every mock draft I can find.
